Bright Corner - My Story
At Bright Corner I aim to offer cosy, inspiring, beautiful lighting, sustainably made in the UK, that can be enjoyed by anyone and anywhere in your home. Well designed lighting, can change the feel of a home it can help create emotional cosiness, creating a welcoming, happy space.
Bright Corner was founded by Chloe Harrison. After having her first baby, Chloe searched for a simple, sophisticated and safe nightlight for the nursery and couldn’t find anything made from natural wood. So she started sketching ideas at her living room table to design her own. Her vision soon evolved to create a range of lights that were not only nursery friendly but would sit happily in any bedroom or living space.
About my products
Bright Corner lights & ornaments are made from FSC approved Birch Plywood and are cut using a CNC routing machine, which reveals the natural layers of the wood, keeping them elegant neutral and simple.
Our lights use high quality fabric cable / flex in a choice of three colours - natural jute, mustard yellow or olive green, with black lamp fittings, switches and plugs.
Designed to be used with warm white low light LED bulbs, offering a safe, long lasting product and creating ambience and calmness in your home.
All products are designed by me and sustainably produced here in the UK.
my ethos
I believe in supporting small independent businesses and I am very proud that all of my products are sustainable, designed by me and manufactured in the UK. In fact my lights are cut just minutes down the road from where I live in Hertfordshire.
I create my products from high quality materials giving them longevity, I keep the designs simple, so they can evolve with you, changing with your needs and home.
All products are packaged with no plastic, in simple brown boxes, protected with loose fill paper packaging - all recyclable. Even the parcel bags are Eco friendly made from Coex, a 100% natural product.
